Support Live Theatre for 200 Children in South Auckland

Tim Bray Theatre Company needs your support for our Gift a Seat® programme so that 200 children in South Auckland can have free access to see Margaret Mahy’s The Great Piratical Rumbustification live on stage at Māngere Arts Centre in May 2024.

For many students this will be their first theatre experience.

Imagine being that child who misses out.

All children should have equal opportunities to great educational learning experiences – but this is not always the case as many families face financial hardship.

The performing arts help shape the future of New Zealand in areas including medicine, science, engineering and more. It’s vital that our theatre company continues to provide educational experiences for all children to see books come to life on stage.

The Challenge

We have until 28 April 2024 to fundraise $8,250.

We have a generous donor who will match the first $2,000 fundraised (getting us to $4,000).
