The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch is a story made for audience enjoyment, featuring an operating lighthouse, a seaworthy vessel and an enormous rescue at sea!
Born from the pages of Ronda and David Armitage’s three children’s books, The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch, The Lighthouse Keeper’s Rescue and The Lighthouse Keeper’s Tea, this iconic Kiwi show had audiences of all ages singing along, joining in the fun and marvelling at its mystery, adventure and humour.

Terry Hooper – Mr Grinling
Terry Hooper, is a professional actor and director. He trained at the accredited Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama in London.
Madeleine Lynch – Mrs Grinling
Madeleine is an experienced theatre practitioner with a passion for children’s theatre and youth performance, a love of Shakespeare, and improvisational skills honed in the public and corporate sectors.
Dylan Underwood – Seagull, Sam, Whale Puppeteer
Dylan Underwood has been performing professionally as a children’s theatre actor for the past 5 and a half years. He studied at UNITEC and received a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts degree majoring in Acting.
Awatea Timothy – Seagull, Whale Puppeteer, Cameraperson
Originally from Ashburton, Awatea is a Unitec Performing Arts school (Auckland) graduate. He has also trained with industry stalwarts Shane Bosher and Elena Stejko.
Max Easey – Hamish
Max Easey is a graduate of the Bachelor for Performing and Screen Arts program at Unitec/Te Pūkenga.
Kat Glass – Seagull, Inspector, Whale Puppeteer, Fisherperson
Kat Glass is an actor and producer of film and theatre. A Tim Bray regular Kat has appeared in Greedy Cat, The Man Whose Mother Was a Pirate, Badjelly the Witch, The Whale Rider, A Lion in the Meadow, and The Great White Man-Eating Shark.
